The Dead Sea
This famous salty lake has been drawing tourists and pilgrims alike to its shores. Unfortunately, the water levels have dropped over the last few years. Known for the beneficial water and being the lowest continental point on the planet, the lake is very buoyant due to the high salt content.
Glacier National Park
Located in Montana near the Canadian borders of both Alberta and British Columbia, this national park was once home to hundreds of different glaciers. However, due to changes in climate, less than 25 of the original 150 glaciers (number of glaciers at the grand opening of the park) still remain. According to a U.S. Geological Survey, the largest glaciers will vanish by 2030.
