Travel Tip Tuesday: Do This To Get Rebooked Faster When Your Flight Is Cancelled

If your flight is cancelled and you’re at the airport, don’t just wait in line for the next agent.  Get on your cell and call the airline’s customer service reps directly.  Chances are you’ll reach someone a lot quicker and the phone agent can rebook you before you’ll get to the front of the in-person agent.  I’ve done this multiple times (sometimes before I’ve even deplaned and I know that my connecting flight is cancelled) and it’s helped me grab one of the remaining seats on the next flight before they’re gone.

Help me keep this series going!  If you have any travel tips, please email me at [email protected] and your tip may end up in a future post!
