The Venues For March Madness 2015’s Opening Rounds

All across the country, people are checking basketball scores for March Madness, but some devoted fans are right there at the games themselves.  If you find yourself in one of these cities, you might benefit to swinging by and watching some of the action live.

First Round

March 17-18

UD Arena (Dayton, Ohio)

A 13,435-seat multi-purpose opened in 1969. From 2001 to 2010, the facility hosted the annual “play-in” game in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, which featured the teams ranked 64th and 65th in the tournament field. In 2011, when the tournament expanded to four opening round games, the arena continued to host all “first four” games.Overall, the arena has hosted more men’s NCAA Division I basketball tournament games than any other venue.
