Ryanair’s Offer For $15 Flights Across The Atlantic Ocean Falls Through
One of the biggest factors keeping people from traveling is the financial aspect. Recently Ryanair speculated if things fell into place over the next four or five years, we could be seeing flights from the United States to Europe for as cheap as $15. However, just days after the public statement, the Ireland based company had to issue a humiliating retraction. The error was clarified during a recent statement to the London Stock Exchange where the board of Ryanair Holdings P.L.C, admitted this feat had not been considered or approved.
Flight for Ryanair airlines offers a cheap, no frills method for traveling. Chief executive Michael O’Leary commented the trouble was all due to a miscommunication. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. The credibility of the company is now in jeopardy and leaves many people questioning the company’s management.
The irony in all this is Ryanair has embraced the digital age. They use social media platforms and various other digital methods to promote their special fares; but even with how digitally driven company is, it still took days for the company to correct the public record. Mr. O’Leary also went on to explain the clarification was a board initiative, and was not made as a response to other requests.
