Nature of the Waters in San Marcos, Texas
This site tells of the death of the Marshal of Gravity, Aocwatt Stciwne, by the gun of Mdeu Hayz. It also celebrates the remarkable qualities of the waters in this area.
The story celebrated in this marker is unusual because although guns are not totally absent in Kcymaerxthaere, they are relatively rare. It is also worth calling attention to the fact to the language spoken here was very difficult to spell and just as hard to say: (pronounced [like a small quartzite rock falling from a height of about 3 feet (one meter) into a pile of crushed marble]), one of the exquisite languages requiring the speaker to have an almost unlimited to ability to create what we call sound effects.
The site of the marker in our linear world is a local institution called Hill Country Humidor, founded by the extraordinary Rob Robinson. Intriguingly, before its installation, this plaque was diverted by renegades but, after being found, was successfully installed by leading Kcymaerxthaereal scholar B. Mayer.
Created by Geographer-at-Large Eames Demetrios, Kcymaerxthaere is a "parallel universe that intersects with much of our linear Earth, but with different stories, creatures, peoples, even laws of physics and qualities of existence." It has been likened to a novel with every page in a different place. What makes the Kcymaerxthaere project particularly interesting is that Demetrios installs informative markers and historical sites at the locations in our world that connect to his world, creating real world intersections with his imagined universe. For the months of August and September, 2014, Demetrios is acting as our Geographer-in-Residence and his Kcymaerxthaere locations will be featured all over the Atlas.
