Glamping is a Thing – And it’s Awesome
If you’re like me you have never heard the term “glamping” before. It sounds like some made up work that was first mentioned on Glee, but, after further research glamping is indeed real…and it’s awesome-epicness! The term is derived from “glamorous” and “camping” two words that typically don’t mix but for whatever reason this experience is a thing. Here are 5 glamping locations you need to book for your next vacation.
1. Pine Mountain Camp – California
Pine Mountain Camp stretches over 40 acres of beautiful wilderness and is considered a group camp. That means for the price of $1800 a night, you and 22 friends can reserve the entire estate.
2. Clayoquot Wilderness Resort – British Columbia, Canada
O Canada! Our home and native land! That’s exactly what you’ll be saying after visiting this amazing five star dining resort.
3. Sundance Club – Texas
Who you said you can’t go glamping on a budget? For $105 per night, you can enjoy a 12,000 square foot fitness center, winding nature trails and four outdoor pools. Just a heads up, this paradise in nature is a member’s only club, so you’ll have to inquire about that.
4. Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle – Chiang Rai, Thailand
While on the more pricier ($1729/per night) side of things, your reservation is all inclusive. Your package includes: round-trip airport transfer, meals, house wines and spirits, elephant trekking and a spa treatment. Yes…elephant trekking!
5. Paperbark Camp – New South Wales, Australia
Camp underneath the stars in a tent at Paperbark Camp for only $395 a night. Looks amazing right!?
