5 Ruins Transformed Into Amazing Attractions

The world is full of amazing places to visit. Some attractions are man-made while others were created by nature. As time goes on, we seem to come across more and more ruins of long forgotten places. These uncharacteristic attractions may have started out like typical factories or abandon train stations; but as time went on, nature reclaimed these abandoned structures and transformed the ruins into amazing tourist attractions.

  1. Glass Beach

Located near Fort Bragg, California, this isolated beach is covered with vibrant colors. The colors littering the sand on the beach look like thousands of gemstones. However, they are actually small pieces of polished glass. Around 1906, Fort Bragg and some other nearby cities on the coast began dumping their garbage into the Pacific Ocean. Although the dumping was ceased, the glass remained; and the abrasive sand and rolling waves helped to round out the edges to create iridescent glass pebbles.
