With its temperate climate and wealth of rain, it’s no wonder many people feel Vancouver Is best experienced outdoors. This gorgeous and sophisticated city has been called ‘North America’s most under-rated tourist destination’, the ‘Manhattan with mountains’, and ‘the city unlike any other’. This cosmopolitan is a must-see for any family. Even if you miss out on the yearly games or festivals, there are still plenty of things to experience throughout the year in Vancouver.

  1. Vancouver Lookout

If you love sightseeing, you have to visit Vancouver Lookout. This observation deck offers you a 360 degree panoramic view of the city. Located on the 55th floor of the Harbour Centre building, you even travel to the lookout through a glass elevator. The ride take takes 40 seconds to get to the top. Although the facility is open daily during the summer and winter, make sure to avoid this attraction during cloudy days. Otherwise, you won’t get your money’s worth.
