4 Of The Best Breweries In America

Over the years, beer has become an American tradition; so it probably comes as no surprise that as of June 2014, there were over 3,000 breweries operating in the United States alone. Lager, amber ale, microbrew, since the creation of beer, more and more craft styles have emerged. So whether you’re looking for a full on tour or just to watch a fresh pint being made right in front of your eyes, here are four of the best American breweries.

  1. Spencer Trappist Ale

Created by the St. Joseph’s Abbey monks, the beer created is brewed using monastic traditions. The beer created is fermented in bottle, unfiltered, and any profits made from beer sales are used for both: funding the monastery and the St. Joseph’s Abbey charitable causes.
