The water shows are set to music from Frank Sinatra to Celine Dion, shooting hundreds of feet into the air, which makes for a romantic event without making you look cheap. Shows play every 30 minutes in the afternoon and 15 minutes in the evening.

Watch a Volcano Erupt
Go in front of the Mirage to get an experience one would typically find on some island – watching volcanos make loud explosions, spew out hot lava and shoot fire. It’s set to Indian-inspired music and plays every 30 minutes in the evening.
Drink Whiskey at Vom Fass
HIt up Venetian where Vom Fass resides and try samples from the kegs at any time., However, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, an informal class called The Whiskey Experience takes place at 7pm, when you can enjoy bourbon, Irish whiskey and Scotch while learning about how they’re made and what makes them all different from each other.
Go for a Hike
Although you might want to try doing this earlier in the morning when it’s the least hot, you can enjoy nature’s beauty at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Sake Mondays at Katsuya
Inside Katsuya at the SLS Las Vegas, you can try free samples of sake on the last Monday of every month with half-prices bottles every Monday. You could also choose to go to the Sayers Club nearby, where cover is usually free is there isn’t a big name concert happening.
Take in the Fremont Street Experience
Take a walk to Downtown Las Vegas to get this blast to the past experience. The old town feels with the Viva Vision LED light show that takes place under the 1,500 feet long canopy throughout the night, plus local bands that are playing on one of three stages at any given moment. Sometimes there are even bigger acts that play for free in the summer. Past headliners have included 3 Doors Down, Bret Michaels, and Cheap Trick.
Smell the Roses at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Visit the lobby inside the Bellagio, where it features rotating seasonal floral displays, making it a wonderful place to bring a date in Vegas.
Party at First Friday
This artsy block party takes place, as the name suggests, on the first Friday of every month in Downtown. It’s the perfect time to pay a visit to the Downtown Arts District, check out some exhibits and hear some music.
Relive Rock History
The typical Hard Rock Cafe in any city usually has a few guitars and platinum records on the wall, but things get taken up a notch in Vegas. The lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is like a walking tour through the history of music. The memorabilia includes a drum set from Def Leppard, clothes from Prince and Madonna, and special exhibits dedicated to Journey, Imagine Dragons, and other acts who’ve headlined at The Joint.
